postcrossing cards

 I've got some pictures in my camera which I was planning to publish here but again my camera's USB cable got lost... So no posts of incoming and outgoing mail yet.

But I've got 2 postcrossing cards which I wanted to show you. I got them over 6 months ago but I forgot to post them here.

The one with the lighthouse is from Candy who lives in Taiwan and the other with the map is from Amber who lives in Hong Kong. Amber wrote that se bought the card from Chengdu. I love both of the cards! I would like to frame some cards and put them to our wall.

And these are the ones that Amber used. I love the bird, it's so beautiful!

I try to find the cable so I could post some of my letters soon!

End of the posting week

I posted in the end of last week a letter to my new penpal Elena to Bulgaria and a postcrossing card to the Netherlands.

Incoming and outgoing

I got my first postcrossing card yesterday from Christa who lives in the Netherlands!

Here is the card and the nice stamp:

I also sent something; letters to my new friend Melissa to the USA and to Katy who lives in Hong Kong. I've been writing with Katy for years and she's fantastic! I'm always very happy to receive a letter or card from her!

I also got a birthday card from my aunt. She had put very lovely stamp on the card!

And almost forgot... This is what happened when I was writing to Melissa:

I often write letters when I'm lying on our livingroom floor. I had my laptop in front of me and I was listening to music at the same time. I got up to get some coffee (I'm a coffee-holic!). Well while I was away our 3 year-old Jack Russell male Eetu decided to take my place!

Letters

I wrote letter to the USA on Friday.

I made the envelope from a page of women's magazine. I blurred the address... I love using nice looking magazine pages like that. Actually I made three new envelopes today.

So these I took to the post on Friday. And today I got a message that my post crossing card to Germany was received! I took only four days (and it was over the weekend).

These I made today. Green one to France, the on in the middle to Japan and I don't know yet where to send the last one. The green one is my favourite!!

First cards

So far I've sent two cards:

First one to USA (and letter behind that to UK) and the second one to Germany.
The stamps that I used are made for Ice Hockey World Championship tour here in Finland this year and the star of the stamps is Hockey Bird of course (i think everybody knows Angry Birds)!
