Letters from Russia

I was looking for penpals from Russia and a couple of weeks ago I got messages via postcrossing forum from two girls; Anja and Ksenia. And today I received their letters!

At first here is the letter from Anja:

So many stamps!

And a beautiful post card :)

The background of the envelope had penquins! <3

And then Ksenia's letter:

And again some lovely stamps!

Ksenia decorated her letter with cute stickers and this strawberry was my absolute favorite!

And she also added some Russian bus tickets to her letter! These were great surprise! I have actually saved all of my tickets which I've got from my trips (like this summer in Estonia). Ksenia sent me her photo too. :)

And one more time the stamps:

I'm quite sure that these are from the same postage stamp set:

Thank you girls from your letters! I will reply to you both as soon as possible!

Giveaway again

I've been reading Caddi's blog since July (that's when I found first mail related blogs). She has a giveaway which is open till the 1st of November.
Sadly it seems that I'm not able to take part to her Advent Calendar swap, which she also wrote about... Well, maybe next year then!

Pumpkins in the mail

I have a pile of written letters which I haven't blogged yet... I lost my the usb-cable from my camera and just found it!

Here is a letter to Melanie in Germany.

This was written about 2 weeks ago I think... I was in a mood for Halloween already then! :D Every side of the stationery is the same.

Here is a bit closer look for the envelope. It's not self-made but it's self-drawn. I like the round shape of the stamp. It was the only one I found which could be even a bit related to pumpkins. I definitely need new stamps!!

These were in Melanie's letter. I like the picture of the plane!

Matryoshka Mail

I got a lovely letter from Katy who lives in Hong Kong. The stationary and the envelope made me really happy!

I love matryoshkas (and polka dots...)!
I've got a collection of matryoshkas:

and of course my matryoshka pillow! :D

Katy got some Moomin stickers and a letter with Moomin stamp:

Mail to the USA

This blog has been a bit quiet lately... I've been busy with other things in my life so I haven't written much letters. I've taken  pictures from the few written letters but haven't had time to post them here. But I'm back on my mood for writing!!

Yesterday I wrote 4 letters to the USA.

There are only 3 letters in the photo because I wrote the fourth letter in the evening. Lovely girls Catrin, Lena, Sam and Melissa hopefully will get their letters soon! I heard a while ago that the letter in the July's last post to Elena (in Bulgaria) never arrived. :(

I have to post some stamps from the letters here!

These has been one of my favourites! I have used all of these already! The shape of the stamp is really like that, my camera didn't distort the stamp! :D

And this is what Catrin's letter looked like! I love all of the stamps, priority- and air mail labels!

And lovely stamp from Melissa's letter:

Okay, I have to admit that I loved the Bonsai stamps too...

I replied to Nienke in the Netherlands week or two ago so this is late, but this picture fits well in the topic:

The stamped text on the left! I don't know a single word from Holland but it isn't difficult to guess what that text means! :) Yesterday I got a reply from Nienke and I had to buy something for her! But more of that later...

There is a giveaway in Idle Needle- a blog from a Finnish blogger Anikó.
I just found her blog and had to start to follow it! Lots of beautiful pictures and great posts!
